Karen’s work explores the dichotomy of happiness and sadness in life: struggle and strength. Much of her resent works is about being a human woman and a mother. Karen’s paintings capture raw beauty of the human experience and the ruggedness of Nature.
Ever since she was a child Karen has been fascinated by the essential unreality of meaning. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes corrupted into a cacophony of futility, leaving only a sense of unreality and the inevitability of a new order.
As intermittent forms become distorted through diligent and personal practice, the viewer is left with a tribute to the inaccuracies of our era.
